Today, although it was 35 degrees C in Melb, I met my step goal of 10,000 + steps.

Totally failing to exercise. I used my elliptical twice: it was really hard, I hated finding out how out of shape I am, and I'm resistant to getting back on. I keep paying for the gym and not going. 😩

@taraeve I know how that feels! This is why I joined 43 things. I've done far too little exercise and put my gym membership on hold due to bilateral shoulder injuries and lack of motivation.
I decided to try to get back to it by starting with short walks.
I'll go back to gym next week, but don't know how I'll go.

Making time to exercise.. I think yesterday was the first day I felt very little motivation to dance around, but after venting in my journal for a bit I was able to rile myself into doing a decent 40 minute workout.

Something, something, emotional intelligence.. something, something, 'I am not ruled by my temporary emotions about temporary events'. Something, something, 'eff that guy, and the horse he rode in on"
    😆😅

After a bad strain of flu virus I've been left pretty weak, but received a FitBit for my birthday, which will hopefully motivate me even more.
Yesterday I took a really basic step of 30 sit-ups as I don't want to relapse but at least want to feel like I have begun.
Previously I trained for and ran a half marathon and also enjoyed working out on a punchbag. I have never felt better than at that time of peak exercise and I want to get back to that in the next 1-3 months.

On it.. been hooping every day since I've been back, though I'm considering switching every other day between yoga, and hooping so that I'm getting more of a full body workout.

I really want to take kickboxing, or martial arts classes, but I know I shouldn't add anything new to my plate yet.

Irony; not having time to exercise because you need to get everything ready to host a luncheon that's theme is essentially 'New Years Resolutions', one of my resolutions being - Exercise daily.
So.... despite time constraints I still hula hooped for an hour, because.. oh, the irony! Consequently, it did put me a bit behind schedule, but everything went fine regardless.

You can type any date in plain English like in 3 weeks or next month.
You can also type in recurring due date like every day, every week and every month.
