Just started reading The Power by Naomi Alderman. This is an interesting take on gender equality through the use of historical fiction to portray equality with negative traits! Power is power, it doesn't matter your gender.

A lot of parents regard getting their children in the best college in their area as the only way to make certain their child grows up in a position to achieve and earn all the things they really want from life.

Parents' obsession with finding the best colleges for his or her children results in some complications, mostly because it is so difficult to determine what really makes one Best schools in coimbatorebetter than another. Is it the grades that the students earn, and if so is that an indicator of high quality coaching? Are the socio-economic demographics of any school the most transparent way of determining the amount of success which will be enjoyed by each student on graduation? Just how about graduation rates themselves, or the percentage of children at an university who go on to go to and graduate student institutes better education?

Nonetheless other parents argue that the most crucial factor in determing the best school in their area is the personal attention youngsters receive from instructing staff and other people of the school's government. Students, especially those for whom academic success does indeed not come naturally, often need personal attention in order to excel, and one way to ensure this is to find schools where small category sizes would be the norm. The conflict for several parents without intensive financial means is that these schools are often positioned in wealthy and surrounding suburbs, and it can be difficult to afford homes in those areas - particularly for parents whoever own academic career had not been filled with the same advantages they wish their children to obtain, and who work for low salaries as a result.

What many parents don't realize is that nearly every school can be a great learning environment for their children and their children's classmates, provided the parents of all the students are inclined and able to get involved with the educational system. Professors can put as much time and effort as is feasible into a day at school, but if parents fail to reinforce lessons about respect and responsibility at home, then their children's success will eventually hit a glass threshold.
