For the past week, I have been doing meditation, and I am already seeing some great benefits. I am sleeping better at night, and I am more relaxed.

@lifeholder Great! I have been trying too, just three to five minutes of mindfulness meditation in the morning. The Headspace app really helps. After only a few days of this I already felt less stressed at work. How long to you meditate for?

I have just started taking Juice Plus. Now I just have to wait to see how I go. God willing it helps.

I have been trying not to stay past 5.45 at work unless it's absolutely necessary. I always thought that the later I'd stay, the more I'd get done and therefore feel less stressed out the next day trying to fit it all in.

Turns out it doesn't work like that. Making a commitment to finish work at a set time helps me:
    a) Prioritise/organise tasks more effectively - and therefore get more done!
    b) Achieve a better work/life balance so that I'm fresh and productive the next day.

If you feel like you can NEVER get to the bottom of the 'to-do' list (I'm in general office admin - a lot of different things to sort for a lot of different people) I'd recommend putting 'leave work on time' first!

I should book a facial and hair treatment soon. November and December are toxic work months. Ugh!

Over the last couple of weeks I have been doing Leslie Sansone Walking 4 times a week. I get up early and do it before work. Shes actually really motivating. So although I hate getting up early I have found that I feel better.

In 2013 I had treatment for breast cancer. I went through a Lumpectomy, Chemotherapy & Radiotherapy and am currently taking tamoxifen everyday. But thankfully due to all the above I've been NED (No Evidence of disease) for 4 years now. (Touching wood everyday that this continues.)

I did have a wobble a month back when the negative thoughts returned and anxieties got the better of me though. It made me think about how far I've come and how I should be treasuring every moment.

I get a routine appointment twice a year. February / March to the breast clinic and August/ September to see my oncologist. Between these times I'm left on my own to trust my body. Have faith in myself. This is hard. From the top to the bottom I need to look after myself better. In what I eat, to how I hold myself, to the exercise I do. Everything about what I do and how I spend my time. Negative thoughts have never helped me. I need to be around positive people doing things that I love. Need to find some me time. Relax, Have Fun and Look After ME!!!!

I actually bought a small thing for myself that I wanted not needed. I feel no guilt. Taking care of others (by profession) at work and at home means not only do I deserve to rest but I need it to renew myself. Yeah!

Yep! Took a 20 minute power nap. Felt great. Refuse to feel guilty. I AM HUMAN. What's next?

You can type any date in plain English like in 3 weeks or next month.
You can also type in recurring due date like every day, every week and every month.
