Obviously this will be a habit, but I did really well with my scripture reading challenge last month. I think I read 26 out of the 28 days.
(read more)Well... I'm actually starting 6 more Lol yay for post scheduling, I suppose.!
(read more)Read the Bible... a lot! I've probably read it through 6-7 times by now. Not only that but I try to watch Bible study Youtube videos, I go to church as much as I can, and listen to adult Sunday school podcasts. There are also the devotionals that come in my email.
(read more)Well for the most part, although it's centered around blogging/social media. I definitely try to include prayer and devotional time in the morning. A lot of devotions come in my email so I'm able to read while checking it. The rest is just fun.
(read more)Being in the hospital, or sick, or having bad headaches helps with this one.
(read more)I just decided to commit to daily scripture reading, in this case. I'd be OK with making weekends my days for reading other books as well. That way I read every day lol. Not only that but I consume a lot of online content, which is reading if you actually read the whole thing. I do unless it's going to take me more than about 10-15 minutes.
(read more)Called spectrum and asked them to cancel it because it was too expensive. I did this back in December and just realized it was still on the list.
(read more)Well it's still not perfect, but I've been doing this for about a month now. Trying to include a vegetable in every recipe, and buying fruit to have for snack.

Well I'm at least eating 3 fruit/veg daily. I know it's supposed to be 5 but yeah. I've been eating a banana with breakfast, a tomato and cheese sandwich for lunch, and veggie lasagna for dinner, which is epic! Unfortunately I think doing the 5 a day thing is impossible for me.
I'm trying to eat more plant-based things in general. Breakfast included a Banana with cereal. Lunch was a tomato and cheese sandwich, (yeah plain, I didn't put anything else on it,) and a couple of those small oranges. Dinner was interesting lol. I had a Kiwi, cheese slice and carrot chips. My caregiver and I will be cooking vegetable beef soup tomorrow, which I can't wait to try! It's a recipe I found somewhere, lol now I can't remember where.
Committed to checking the feed, and trending goals every 3 days or so. Also reviewing goals every couple weeks to make sure they're still current.
(read more)It took years, going back to 2009. I just tried to post on a semi-consistent basis.
(read more)I'm not sure if I'll ever be done with this goal because teaching the world anything takes a long time. I try to do this by answering any questions people have, and I did a series on my blog a couple years ago about common questions people ask me. http://hopesthoughts.blog/2015/10/ If anyone still has any questions after reading that, feel free to ask them. I'm marking this done because it's one of those life-long things I'll always be working on. (read more)
I started using Lavabit email, DuckDuckGo for search, and hooktube.com in place of Youtube. Deleted my Google account last week and haven't wanted it back since!
(read more)I found a yoga studeo and went to classes there. I also did some on my own at home.
(read more)Well, whenever I thought of something to throw into the entry box, I put it up there. Unfortunately, my personal blog takes priority for these kind of things. Lol so I had a hard time coming up with what to post.
(read more)I made a conscious effort to go to bed somewhat earlier than I usually do. It's still hard sometimes, but I think I've mastered the getting up early part anyway. The only days I'm not up between 5 and 6 AM are days when I have bad headaches.
(read more)My family and I went for my brother's wedding. The wedding was good but that's all we were really able to do. We did walk the strip though and it was 113 degrees. I got to enjoy the spins! Lol I don't do well when it comes to heat. I dehydrate extremely fast. Lol but I love the spins, and the adrenalin that comes with it. Cheap thrills!
(read more)I picked out the books I was going to read ahead of time. Then I stayed up for 24 hours, and probably ended up doing about 20-21 hours of reading! I took several 30 minute breaks. Mostly for Twitter, Facebook etc.
(read more)Well I tried giving up Soda and fast food. Wasn't so successful with the soda thing at the end though. I also tried practicing Lectio Divina. I did enjoy that.
(read more)By reading lots of entries, following almost everyone, (I think I'm behind at this point,) and joining/following goals that have more than just myself doing them.
(read more)Lol I just followed everyone in @stephanie's list. It took time, but it was easy enough.
(read more)I found my profile on Wayback like I discussed last time, then I put my list in a text file and pasted it into an entry.
(read more)Ok you have to put 43things.com/person/yourusername in the wayback search field. replace yourusername with your actual username, obviously.
